Sara Weitzman was born and raised in Jerusalem, the city she continues to call home and where she creates her art today.
From an early age, she was captivated by the beauty of the world around her – nature, community, and the unique atmosphere of Jerusalem.
These experiences continue to inspire her work and find expression on her canvas.
Sara has had the privilege of studying under master artists, inheriting their tradition of oil painting on canvas.
She has worked in this medium for more than 30 years and has shared her knowledge through teaching individuals and adults even as old as 100!
Her artwork has primarily focused on naturalistic themes, reflecting her deep appreciation for the beauty of everyday life and the natural world.
In recent years, she has also begun exploring more abstract concepts, expanding the scope of her artistic expression.
Since 2015, Sara has exhibited her work in galleries and shared it with collectors and art enthusiasts around the world.
Her paintings have been featured in several prominent exhibitions, earning recognition for their warmth, depth, and connection to place.
